The problem with no internet
You know, that - yes, that thing above, that wireless, magical thing that makes the world go around, the thing we take for granted is what I've been deprived of for the last month. It's madness - not having the internet, not having MSN is driving me crazy. So desperate times call for desperate measures, EVEN if it means expensive desperate measures.
I'm sitting here bloggin in Starbucks with an internet prepaid card and using the web is costing me 20 cents a freaking minute. Yes. The insanity of it all. The good thing though is that the wireless connection's super, duper quick with downloads - so there's no compromise whatsoever. Except that I'm still so sore that I've gotta pay so much. Boo.
In any case, I can't believe it's Sunday already. It's insane - Easter went by without much flurry of activity. I just essentially got re-accquainted with my geeky side, had an assignment due this week and one due tommorrow which I've been working hard on. There's still heaps more work to go and I think I might actually manage. Thank God.
Time to work stupendously hard. The only break I got though was the trip I took to Yarra valley with my cousin. I didn't drink heaps, but downing one glass of sparkling wine at Moet and Chandon in 5 minutes so enough to get me a little tipsy - it was good though coz' the Yarra Valley is beautiful. I'll put pictures up I promise once, my internet connection at home goes up - which hopefully would be in the next 2 weeks, as Optus has so "graciously" promised (mumble.mumble.grumble). Boo.
Hope all's been good. I'm growing fat - really what's new! ha.
Dinner with him tonight. Finally some extra attention. ha.
