The stuff that makes things tick

So it's already been one hell-uva week since I got back (ok wait, it's only the middle of the week). Bah. School's been fun, I guess maybe all the anticipation and all the expectations I have of it has been met, thus making it a very very enjoyable experience. I've got old classmates in most of my classes too, which is fantastic because lectures tend to get a little dry sometimes - especially when it's cold outside and all you really wanna do after that cup of coffee is to head right back to bed and sleep. Hide under the qulit and perhaps all ya troubles might fly away.

In any case, I realised that the good thing about being a third year, instead of a freshman in a foriegn land and where you don't have old schoolmates in the same uni is that you tend to end up being more thick-skinned and more daring in the process of becoming 3rd year. I went for this small frisbee barbecue today and guess what, surprise surprise (not!) everyone there kinda knew each other (being you know, ang mohs and the chinese well they're ABCs) and everyone didn't really want to talk to me, but I guess having the guts to open ya mouth to ask first has it's benefits - it's either a win or lose case. I ended up having quite a bit of fun tossing a frisbee for about half an hour in the hot sun, so perhaps, I really would become a tad darker in the remnants of summer. ah ha.

So in any case - it was just an afterthought I had yesterday whilst walking home - What makes a relationship work? Like I mean not one of those last for 3 months and forget about it kind - but the really really long type kind - ya know? ha. Like what's the real stuff that makes it work - How do you get stuff out and know that the other person would want to talk about it? you know. bah. Tell me o experienced ones. hee.

Anyway, I've gotta run - Torts lecture NOWW!! and the worse thing about it is that i've got no internet connection at home - I can't blog at will. Sucks.

trust me. I know i'm whinging.
