warm - wait sweltering

I can never be happy with the weather can i? One minute I'm complaining that the sun's not out and there's too much wind and rain, now...and perhaps for the next few days (weather forecast for melbourne's predicted to be 28 tommorrow and 32 the day after!!) I'm going to be complaining that it's too darn hot. It's warm - hot - whatever you call it and it's sooo unlike melbourne. Really. Really. Totally outta character. Too warm and uncomfortable for my liking. However, because my popo and sister now in town, I hope it remains this way. All nice, sunny and not gloomy (not one bit!) at all, because when it rains you simply cannot do anything. when it rains - melbourne's not really nice. Oh yes, melbourne's not a nice place to be in when it's raining cats and dogs - so much so that you might think that the Yarra River might flood over.

In any case, today's been a rather productive day. Although, I'm now officially utterly exhausted. My bio-circadian rythmn hasn't gotten used to extra hour we lost on sunday. So I'm way outta touch with my sleep cycle - my head's drumming incessantly, nudged on of course, by the heat (thankfully, it's not humid though!). I thought my take-home exam was due in today, in fact (yikes!) it's not. Actually it's not due in tommorrow. But I think, I really don't care any longer because I just wanted to finish it and hand it over - that thing done and handed up is one last thing occupying my mind. Studying for psych is going good. Hammering in the head is a small price to pay for the amount of work that I've caught up on today. French is going good - I've finished learning all the conjugation stuff which leaves me with the vocab. Two days to do that. I can breathe a little easier now.

So in all things. I'm going to thank God:)

oh yes oh yes - there's a new addition to the house. Baby Matthew:) but someone please please please send me a pair of earplugs otherwise i'm going to be a panda by the time everyone sees me in 2 weeks.
