Helloo from Sydney....
I'm having such an amazing time here, that I don't really wanna go back to Melbourne. Really, really. You know shops close past 9..some of them anyway. The buses run even at 10....really makes Monash sound like a Kampung. Haha..but I'm suppose I'm thankful that I got the chance to come here.
Let's see today, luo po and I woke up rather early. Like the whole daylight savings thing was rather strange coz' we had two different times of when daylight savings was beginning, or rather in this case ending. Anyhow, we realised too late so we were too early for the easter service that we wanted to go home. I went to visit Hillsong church today..it's nice. It's a change I suppose, seeing people have so much energy to worship so early on a sunday morning...but it was an experience..in my books, it was an attraction. oops.
After that, we had DIM SUM. yums. It was really, really scrumptiou-licess. seriously, possibly even comparable to the ones that we get back home. Cheaper too i think. and the most amazing thing about it..they served authentic TAU-HUAY. you can't get that ever, not in melbourne anyway...so taddah..it was a fantastic lunch.
Even had coffee before service. Black and dark green...and it smells of cocoa beans=)
We headed to Paddy's after tim sum in Chinatown. May I add that Chinatown's bustling..unlike little Bourke St. in Melbourne..really, really. It was like wonderful. Anyhow, Paddy's is this market place...akin to Victoria Market, except alot bigger and they've got alot more stuff. All the factory outlet stores are on the top of it..which makes it ten times better. haha. We did alot of walking..
Walked to Darling Habour after Chinatown...it's beautiful there. Breathtakingly beautiful. The nightlife and the scenery's awesome. I reckon it's something like what one fullerton's trying to be. There were bustling jazz cafes, bars, buskers, and there were even yachts docked right next to the pier. I really loved it there. Just perhaps..there wasn't enough time, Luopo and I were trying to get home for dinner without getting too overly distracted.
Even better, there's this Thai Food place opposite her house.Becky dear..we miss you!!
Possibly we're going to have that tommorrow...Krispy Kreme donuts too!!
Will write more tommorrow!!
Oh yes, just a note..
i reckon that since this is MY blog..i've got every right to write whatever i damn well please, so whoever doesn't like what my thoughts are..should just JOLLY WELL not read my entries.
