Can i believe in fairy tales??!

it's no secret that i think i'm becoming one of life's biggest cynics. so anyhow yes,
I just caught "suddenly 30"..the Jennifer Garner show..i think it's sad that i've started to resort to watching these "feel good" shows to make myself feel better. Not that i would rather choose to do something else..but yah..makes you a little sad thinking about it. It's ironical how i spent the whole day staring at this "white, flickering" screen and i end up, in my time off..staring at another even bigger "white, flickering" screen.

i think fairy tales do come true. The company was good today.

Has anyone ever, ever, ever wondered how do you know that you've fallen in love? How do you know for a fact that it's just not a crush without having to wait it out? it just crossed my mind today. Like it always feels nice at the start..but you never know how it's going to be a month down, 3 months down. I mean how in the world did my parents know they are meant for each other ?? That's why i reckon my parents are one of those miracles that i've taken for granted in my life. yups. i mean you really never know. There are tooooooo.. many guys out there..too many people, so yah "HOW DO YOU KNOW?"

i understand the "childhood friend" bit, i understand the "friends for really long" bit, i understand the "love at first sight" bit, i understand the "we just hit it off" bit..but what about the 99.95% [i reckon] of the population, who doesn't feel or experience all these feelings? i mean how do they know? Leonard once told me that after a certain age people don't look at finding a partner the same way any longer, coz' he was recounting to me how his friends always surprised him about getting hitched. I mean then, would we have to wait till "that age" before we finally know????

just thinking. maybe that's why so many people never get married. too painful headache and heartache.
