showery, towery, foamery...

well surprise surprise..wednesday's over again. yes AGAIN. Time flies. it really really really does. i'm tired today. wondering if i ought to take a nap before i begin reading. i know i've gotta accomplish something tonight to say the least. something worthwhile, something that happens. i feel that i haven't been doing enough and that ought not to be the case.

can i buy a potato cookbook?

it seems that it's 400 bucks to visit melbourne now. a return ticket too. anyone wanna come visit me? i really wouldn't mind some company. some old friends from home. some familar faces. it's tiring sometimes to make new friends. i rather stick to my old ones anytime, anyday. i like to be baking and cooking for them. i like to sit back, chill and have a cup of coffee. a bowl of katong laksa in Holland v would be nice too. i'll like it when i can sit back with my old friends and not say anything..and we all know it's not an awkward silence but rather we're just enjoying each other's presence. it's difficult to find that in new friends. i think with new friends you've gotta talk alot more. you've gotta show who you are all over again. one may argue that all old friends were once new friends too..but it's different they're old friends now. am i making any sense? haha.

i reckon i would make a birthday present list. although i reckon i wouldn't end up showing it to anyone. because it'll be my secret! and birthday presents are suppose to be surprises ain't it not? my daddy told me that it's 96 days more to going home. i can't believe HE counted. even i didn't. all i knew was that i've got a whole more assignments to go, 9 more weeks of lectures, abt 3 weeks worth of exams, a mountain of reading before i could go home. funny yah?
