Rain..rain go away come again another day(2)
well..the rain did go away..but the sun didn't come out and i was so late coming home..that it didn't matter coz' i couldn't go running anyway..bah..tommorrow perhaps.. but yah i stumbled across this book in the library today..was written by this chinese poet who lived almost two hundred years ago..it was pretty funny reading the english translation of his poems..i was really amazed about how relevant they are to us though..just check this one out.
Skinny legs, white plumage, the old erget,
flown before me, in among plum-blossomed boughs.
Great river, floating sky, moon's white connections.
The little boat tied to a tree, breeze in silken strands.
When there are mountains, I gaze from my window;
where there's no rain, I mount and ride my horse.
Country travel ten full days: I've had a taste of freedom.
Petty official, school teacher, no more,
stealing time, to chant this lines.
~Idleness, Yuan Mei
I don't bow to Buddha
it's a really pretty poem i think...he just described everything that he possibly could..and i guess if you read it putting yourself in his frame of mind..you'll get the picture..come to think of it..i'll probably write about almost the same stuff if i was bored to death..and we reckon that this people were old and boring..
-full..can't move..about to explode..and whose fault was it?????????????-
