First things first..BRUSSELS SPROUTS ARE THE FIRST KIND OF VEGETABLES THAT I'VE EATEN SINCE I GOT HERE THAT:
1. must be cooked really really well, otherwise you'll end up with this terribly sap-py taste, unlike brocoli that you can eat half cooked
2. They taste terrible with yogurt!!!

The CURRENT STATE of ONE CORNER OF my ROOM 

that's how the state of my room looks like in one corner now..i like my room cluttered coz' it gives the feeling of being cosier..i think it's not cluttered enough now though. it looks messy i know BUT trust me it was alot worse when i was researching for my history assignment..i had books, papers and everything that you can possible strewn all over the place that you couldn't possibly take one step without stepping on anything..that was how messy it is..i mean if i had a smaller bed i'll probably have more space..but i rather a bigger one anyday..haha

as much as i'll like to start on my work, there always seems to be a thousand and one distractions distracting me from it..i've got a 3000 word essay due the monday, the week after next yups and i ought to start on it already..BUT i'm just so bored thinking about it..it's like the whole notion of going home HAS really overtaken every possible thought in my head..it's insane but 16 days never ever seemed so unbearably long..i thought i should just blog just to get some creative juices flowing in my head..well yah so...i can't wait to go home really..CAN'T wait..i spend so much money yesterday when i went to vic mart with isabel and leonard..it was alot fun sitting in a car..i actually missed doing it..sitting in a car and letting someone take the wheel..
felt like "swa-teng" as isabel put it..being in the middle of the city coming from the well-sheltered suburb of monash..the whole feel's different.

we went past collin's street and little collin's street, thats where the biggest law firms in melbourne can be found..somehow as much as i like the idea of being able to be "up-there" with the rest of them, it's hard to comprehend at this very moment..considering that i'm only half a year through my law degree and i REALLY believe that another thing's that hindering me from becoming a lawyer in MELBOURNE would be the fact that i don't have a BLOODY australian accent..as ISABEL mentioned..it's the only bloody thing that probably identifies them from any other ang moh..so yah..
